Apple Vs Samsung

It’s a war between world’s two largest consumer electronic organizations Apple and Samsung. It’s a known fact that both Apple and Samsung are leaving no stone untouched in trying to beat each other in all forms and waging legal war in several countries and accusing each other of patent violations. Last Friday’s decision by U.S. District Judge Lucy Koh in San Jose, California, comes days after she also slapped a pre-trial ban on sales of Samsung's Galaxy Tab 10.1, a tablet computer that runs on Google Inc's (GOOG.O) Android and goes toe-to-toe with the iPad, reminds me of Rome’s war arena, Never the less its Smartphone world that’s going to get benefited out of this. Apple or Samsung wins or loses it should not be a concerned to iPhone or Galaxy users.

Well I really do not like to blog about who is winning and who is not. My main focal point is how best the Smartphones and Android users are benefited out of it, whether it’s Apple or Samsung. I would not hesitate to call Apple as the father of Smartphones as it is known for its innovations and truly brought a revolution in touch screen as the original iPhone set the Smartphone world ablaze and brought Apple to unimagined success as seen from 2007 and latest classic from Apple’s royal family iPhone 4S running on iOS5 which is known for its simplicity.

On the other hand Samsung has come a long way since its inclusion into the Android world and latest marvel being Samsung Galaxy S3 and eyeing at selling 10 million Galaxy S3 by end of July. During the launch Jean-Daniel Ayme, Samsung Vice president said while introducing S3 “It’s inspired by nature. It’s designed for humans. At Samsung we believe a phone should be more than just smart, and that is where the Galaxy S III comes in”

Samsung is known to produce high sensitivity touch screen phones which are not only has the incredible features but very compatible with the latest fashion trends. As today’s consumers buying behavior lots depends on designing and packing so Samsung has capitalized in this niche by producing classy handset keeping the fashion conscious users in mind.

Samsung prime forte is its Android OS from Google which has stormed the Smartphone market and with the introduction of latest ice cream sandwich Android Jellybean 4.1 Samsung has just unlocked the treasure of application to its android users and currently in comparison with iOS5. Though Android can get little complex and is highly customizable with its layout.

iPhone 5 is the hottest discussion in the smartphone market and there are lots of speculations about the release date of iPhone 5 and Foxconn CEO went on to say “Consumers should wait for the iPhone 5 because it will put the Samsung Galaxy S III to shame “but there is no point we sitting and comparing with the existing iPhone 4S as it is implied that iPhone 5 will be superior to iPhone 4 and probably be on iOS6.

As an end user you have to ask yourself what really are interested in a Smartphone, is it Apple iPhone’s OS or Galaxy S3’s Android and of course the price factor. Both iOS5 and Android have best to offer to its users and with the new iOS6 on the line for iPhone 5 we will certainly see a difference in Apple market share. But on the hardware front the Samsung Galaxy S3  remains unchallenged. As far as buying an iPhone or Galaxy S3 , I will leave that decision to the users.
